Messi gets emotional as he admits Barca misses Neymar
Neymar joined Paris Saint-Germain this past summer for a world-record 222 million euros fee from Barcelona. He had joined the Nou Camp based club in 2013 from Santos and had plied his trade there for four seasons.
In an emotional video message, Messi said that he has been missing the Brazilian for some months now. He also said, rather emotionally : “I miss the memories that we made with Luis Suarez in the Barcelona dressing room.”
Neymar himself replied with a video message of his own. He said: “Brother, thank you very much. You are an idol to me and a great friend.”
Neymar and Messi could well have a chance of facing each other in the UEFA Champions League this season, provided that both Barcelona and PSG win their games against Chelsea and Real Madrid respectively.
