Since his official debut with Barça against Espanyol on October 16, 2004, Leo Messi has not stopped accumulating games, titles, and records wearing the Barça shirt. Today, he reached the milestone of 600 matches, as they took on Sevilla.

In those 600 matches during the 14 seasons he has been in the first team, Messi has celebrated a remarkable 523 goals in all competitions. In that time he has also dished out 199 assists. To put that into perspective, Leo Messi has been a direct part of 722 goals in 600 matches; an average of 1.2 direct goal contributions per game. Keep in mind, that doesn’t include the goals he helped create but didn’t get credit for.

Messi has played 392 league games, including today's, 119 in the Champions League, 62 in the Copa del Rey, 17 in the Spanish Super Cup, 4 in the European Supercup, and 5 in the Club World Cup.
