Messi responds to Ronaldo: 'I am not leaving Barcelona, Real miss CR7'

Marca released a long interview with Leo Messi, in which the Argentinian talked about his career, the current season and his rivalry with Cristiano Ronaldo. The Barcelona star also responded to the same CR7, who a few weeks ago had recommended him to leave Barcelona and accept a new challenge.

RONALDO - "At the beginning of the season I said that Real Madrid are a great club with the best players in the world even though I knew that they would have missed Cristiano. Everyone would miss a player like him. He scores many goals but also gives you lots of other things on the pitch. It's not surprising that they miss him but Real is still one of the best teams in the world."

RIVALRY- "We lived an entire era playing in the same championship. Cristiano was a great player for La Liga and very nice duels came out with Real. However, I care about what happens to me, I want to win again here. It was a healthy rivalry, I think the fans enjoyed it."

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE - "Juventus are a very strong team. They were great before Ronaldo’s arrival but now they are stronger. They are among the candidates to win the Champions League. Manchester City play very well, they have players with huge quality. Bayern is also coming back to collect good results. It's hard to choose one, this is why this competition is so beautiful."

LEAVING BARCELONA - "I do not need a change, I'm in the best club in the world. My goals are renewed from year to year. I do not need to change the championship to get new goals. I'm at home, in the best club in the world and I do not need to change."
