Decisive days for the future of Roma's French defender Philippe Mexes. The player has met Rosella Sensi and Daniele Prada to reiterate his willingness to continue to wear the red and yellow jersey.

The player’s contract is due to expire on June 30, 2012 and from February would be free to sign for another team. AC Milan is at the window, ready if things do not go with Rome as the player expects.

Mexes has in fact said that he will not make an agreement with anyone else because staying in Rome is his priority. Next week - as reported by laroma24 - his agent, Olivier Johanneaux will come to Rome to settle the matter.
