AC Milan: all on Spalletti. Inter: Samuel will leave
As well known, AC Milan are still undecided regarding their first team’s future coach: according to MilanNews.it, the Lombard club’s Chief Executive Adriano Galliani will meet next week the youth team’s coach Filippo Inzaghi, one of the main candidates for Clarence Seedorf’s replacement; on the other hand, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the rossoneri are particularly interested in 55 year old Luciano Spalletti, who has recently been fired by Zenit St. Petersburg: the Tuscan coach has still one year on his contract with the Sine-Belo-Golubye, from whom he is earning 4 million per season; Spalletti could obtain a 2 million euros severance pay and then sign a 2,5 million euros per year deal with Milan. The rossoneri are also interested in Fiorentina 40 year old Vincenzo Montella, but this latter will leave the viola only to join a more ambitious team. For sure, the viola won’t confirm 29 year old striker Alessandro Matri, who will then return to the Lombard club: the former Juventus player could be involved in a swap with Genoa or with Lazio. City rivals Inter Milan are dealing with the situation of 33 year old midfielder Esteban Cambiasso, whose contract is about to expire: according to the Corriere dello Sport, the nerazzurri are ready to offer a one-year deal to the Argentina international, unless he will reduce his salary. Also 35 year old defender Walter Samuel is about to become a free agent, but “The Wall” –according to calciomercato.com- has already found an agreement with Fiorentina.
