Milan hesitant to progress in Biglia contract talks

Lucas Biglia could be set to have an important role under the new management of Stefano Pioli at AC Milan. Biglia and Pioli have already worked together in the past, whilst the duo were at Lazio, meaning that the new Milan boss will, in all likelihood, look to Biglia to help him make his mark on the club.

However, talks of a renewal are also surrounding Biglia but it appears that there is some distance between the two parties. Biglia wants to remain earning 3.5 million euros per season but, at age 33, that appears to be too steep for the Rossoneri to pay.
