Milan: It's done for Biglia - the details of the operation

According to press reports in Italy this morning, Milan have made their second capture of the summer after announcing the signing of Mateo Musacchio on Tuesday. La Repubblica (via calciomercato.com) writes that the Rossoneri have agreed a deal with Lazio for their Argentine midfielder Lucas Biglia for a fee believed to be €18M plus €4M bonus. The player himself will sign a three-year deal worth €2.5M net per season and will receive a €500,000 bonus when he reaches 25 appearances for the club.

The 31-year-old has been the subject of huge speculation all season after failing to find an agreement with the capital club. Reports last year suggested he could even be heading to the Premier League with Chelsea boss Antonio Conte a huge admirer of the player.

Biglia however, has stated how happy he is living in Italy and it always looked like a move to another Serie A club was the most likely outcome. Now that move looks to be reaching its conclusion.
