Milan, negotiations with Genoa for Lapadula are ongoing: the latest

Milan are having a very active summer as they have already signed 5 players to date (Musacchio, Ricardo Rodriguez, Franck Kessie, André Silva and Fabio Borini) and they are now also close to finalizing deals for two other players (Andrea Conti and Hakan Calhanoglu). With so many players coming in, others will also soon leave the club. One of these players could be Gianluca Lapadula as Genoa are very interested in signing him.

According to Sky Sport (Via Milannews), the contacts between Milan and Genoa are ongoing as the difference between what Milan want and what Genoa are offering is still big. Fassone and Mirabelli want to get good value for Lapadula who is still pretty young as they might then turn their efforts on signing Fiorentina's Nikola Kalinic. As Fassone promised, Montella will have 2/3's of his roster ready for Milan's training camp.

Milan will be looking to improve on their 6th placed finish in 2016-17 as their goal is to compete in the UCL.
