Milan have announced that Vincenzo Montella will remain in charge of team affairs for the next two seasons. It seemed just a formality that the former Roma striker would extend his stay with the Rossoneri and now this has been confirmed by the club.
 

On making the announcement, CEO Marco Fassone stated: “We have reached an agreement with Vincenzo to not only remain here next season, but for the 2018-19 campaign also. The club are extremely enthusiastic about continuing its adventure after obtaining some excellent results this season during a transitional period”.
 

Sporting Director Massimo Mirabelli declared that; “I want to thank Vincenzo for what he has done up to now. I am happy to continue this adventure with him. Last night we reached an agreement in just a couple of minutes”.
