Milan are desperately trying to sign Carlos Tevez with an offer which Adriano Galliani described as “creative”.

The Rossoneri Vice-President had a meeting with agent Kia Joorabchian and the player in Rio de Janeiro which was followed by a conference call with Manchester City directors.

Initial reports suggested that Milan would get Tevez on loan but with an obligatory clause to permanently sign the striker if he played at least 50% of the remaining games in the current season.

However, according to the latest reports, it is believed that Milan have tied the Tevez deal to the future of Alexandre Pato and Robinho.

Essentially, the Rossoneri would sign Tevez permanently only if they managed to sell Pato or Robinho before August. Galliani would use the money received for Pato or Robinho to cover Tevez’s €24M transfer fee. City have time until next Tuesday to accept their offer.

With Paris Saint-Germain ready to offer €40M for Pato, it seems that there are good chances for the deal to be completed although City may once again turn Milan down also considering better offers coming from Inter as well as the French outfit.
