Milan returned to winning ways with a narrow 1-0 victory over Pescara at the San Siro this afternoon. A Bonaventura free-kick shortly after half-time was enough to give Montella's team all three points but they had to once again thank young goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma for making a string of excellent saves to ensure the rossoneri maintained their advantage.

The win lifts the rossoneri up to third in the table after leapfrogging Napoli who lost in Turin last night.
