Milan: update on Valdifiori. Juve: four players to renew

As reported earlier today, Empoli coach Maurizio Sarri could be the favourite candidate to replace Filippo Inzaghi on AC Milan’s bench: the 56-year-old could be followed at “San Siro” by 29-year-old midfielder Mirko Valdifiori: this latter’s agent had told calciomercato.com that many clubs are after his client, but, as revealed by the same media, the only Serie A club who has found an agreement for the Italy international is Milan itself; the player could on the contrary decide to try an experience abroad, where he is a concrete target for Schalke 04. Meanwhile, as outlined by the Corriere dello Sport, the rossoneri will have to deal with the situation of those players currently on loan at other clubs, as 30-year-old Antonio Nocerino and 28-year-old Walter Birsa, both midfielders, 30-year-old striker Alessandro Matri and 22-year-old goalkeeper Gabriel. Who won’t certainly come back is 31-year-old forward Robinho, currently at Santos: the Brazilian club’s president Modesto Roma Junior has confirmed to esportes.yahoo.com his will to sign the former Real Madrid player, but has also stated that –as his club has no money- he could offer some players to the rossoneri.
As reported yesterday, Juventus are about to renew the contract of their first team’s coach Massimiliano Allegri: as outlined by calciomercato.com, soon also 29-year-old midfielder Claudio Marchisio and 27-year-old defender Martin Caceres will extend their deal with the bianconeri (both until June 2019), while the situation of 33-year-old center back Andrea Barzagli and 35-year-old playmaker Andrea Pirlo will be discussed during the Summer.
