Milan point to Stambouli but Fininvest can stop Galliani: the details

Milan’s search for another midfielder continues as the clock keeps ticking towards the climax of the transfer window. With a small budget and without a clear idea of the profile they really want, the rossoneri have missed out on players such as Kovacic, Diawara and Paredes. There is still a vague hope of landing the 22-year-old Argentine but if Roma do not make any more midfield signings, it’s difficult to see Paredes leaving the capital.

    FININVEST TO DECIDE
Meanwhile, Adriano Galliani is considering alternatives such as Moutinho of Monaco, a player already offered to them by agent Jorge Mendes but one who is not prepared to take a pay cut on the €4.5 million he currently earns in the principality. PSG’s Benjamim Stambouli wants more first-team action and has given the green-light for a possible move to Milan; around the corner however, is Fininvest, who are about to relinquish their control on the club and can veto any possible new acquisitions and as Corriere della Sera reports this morning, are not too keen on a move for the 26-year-old Frenchman.
