Milan rival Inter, Juve in hunt for Lille talent Boufal

Milan sent a scout to watch talented midfielder Sofiane Boufal play, according to Canal+.

The Lille playmaker came off the bench on Saturday in the Dogues' game against Reims, and helped set up the home side's second goal, which was scored by Eder.

The 22-year-old has been targeted by Juventus, Inter and a number of other elite European clubs.

The former Angers player has scored 7 times and made 3 assists in 23 games this season, numbers that have prompted the likes of Inter and Juventus to scout him, something his agent exclusively revealed to us on February 17th.

He has, however, been warned by manager Fredric Antonetti that he needs to step it up if he wants to play at a big club... and be patient. "If he wants to go to a Top 8 club in Europe, he needs to take it up a notch. It's best to arrive ready in clubs like these, otherwise you spend your time watching others play and you develop less".

So far, Boufal has said the right things, insisting that he was focussing on Lille. "For now I'm focussed on the games that are left this season, the more I do well, the more interest there will be for me. I have a lot to improve, we'll see later about the teams that are asking after me".
