Milan star 'wants to stay' despite Man United interest

Gigi Donnarumma wants to remain at AC Milan, according to reports.

The 18-year-old sensation has been linked to Barcelona, Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United, but only the latter remain as the rest of Europe’s elite seem to have found options in goal.

Barcelona have just extended Marc-Andre ter Stegen, City are close to Ederson, Chelsea look to keep Courtois… leaving the Red Devils interested in David De Gea leaves.

Though Donnarumma was coy yesterday when asked about an extension, and has an agent, Mino Raiola, who has repeatedly hinted at a departure, Donnarumma is reported to have told Milan in a meeting two days ago that he wanted to stay.

The Rossoneri, represented by sporting director Max Mirabelli and managing director Marco Fassone, have offered him a five-year deal worth 4 million a season, plus another 1 million in performance and team-related bonuses.

The Gazzetta further confirm that a scaled release clause may be added, one whose value increases year by year.
