Milan talks 'progressing' over €70m Chelsea, PSG target

AC Milan sound like they’re making progress in their quest to bring Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang back to the San Siro.

Recently targeted by PSG and Chelsea, the Gabonese striker is considered to be hot property, and current club Borussia Dortmund want 70 million for him, a fee considered to be too high by some.

Renowned Italian journalist Niccoló Ceccarini has, however, told TMW that “talks between the two sides are progressing, Operation Aubameyang could happen”

“A breach has been opened, and Milan are doing everything they can to lower Borussia’s demands, as well as Aubameyang’s own salary requests”.

The 27-year-old Aubameyang hinted at the possibility of departing from the Signal Iduna Arena recently, having scored a sensational 40 goals this season in all competitions.

Milan short-sightedly gave up on him in 2011, selling him to Saint-Etienne for only €1.8 million. BVB themselves only spent €13 million on him back in 2013, and has rewarded them with 120 goals in all competitions.
