Mauro Tassotti has been speaking about the current situation at Milan. On former coach Sinisa Mihajlovic he stated that; “From the outside looking in he was doing a good job. The squad recognized that he was the leader and so did the fans. He understood that the position in the league table was not acceptable”. When asked about the current events surrounding the sale of the club he replied; “It’s a delicate moment, I was at Milan for many years but this year I decided to take a rest. The fans must have patience because the last few years have been hard but they must remember the success they have had. A Milan without Berlusconi would still be possible”.  

When he was asked who he would prefer to be in charge of team affairs he stated that; “Donadoni has all the characteristics to be able to construct a great team. He was here for many years and he knows how the club operates”.
