Exclusive: Milan, the Biglia idea is losing steam as Krychowiak and Badelj are the alternatives

Milan and Lucas Biglia are not as close as one might think as there is a big difference between Milan's offer and Lazio's demand. It is not a secret that Milan want to add at least another midfielder to their roster as they have so far added Franck Kessie to their team. Biglia had already agreed personnal terms with Milan but Lazio kept asking for 20 plus million euros for their captain. This is too high for Milan as Biglia is over 30 and his contract will expire next summer.

Marco Fassone did again recently state that Montella will have 3/4's of his roster ready for July 3rd as there is still work to be done. Other than the Donnarumma case, Milan now want to find a solid alternative to Biglia as their hunt for a midfielder continues. Mirabelli has been working hard as he found two solid alternatives: PSG's Grzegorz Krychowiak as well as Fiorentina's Milan Badelj. Milan have met with PSG not too long ago as they talked about the Polish midfielder with Antero Henrique (PSG's sporting director). Both parties spoke about the possibility of a loan deal with an option to buy-back set at 20 million euros.

If Krychowiak is Milan's plan B, Milan Badelj would be their plan C. According to sources close to Calciomercato.com, Montella has asked Milan to make another attempt for him soon. Milan have had talks with Fiorentina concerning Kalinic as they might soon bring up Badelj's name too. Players such as Kucka and Lapadula can be inserted in a potential deal between both clubs. After a small break, Milan's transfer campaign will soon heat up again...
