Milan have been joined by Manchester United in the race for Benfica starlet Javi Garcia.

The Red Devils have given up on Nicolas Gaitán, who will most probably move to La Liga, and are now following Javi Garcia.

According to the Mirror, United have a €30M budget for the summer and may need to invest a good part of it for the Spanish defensive midfielder.

    Isla on Roma

Since his injury against Milan, Mauricio Isla keeps on talking about his future. The Udinese player once again talked about Roma and a potential move to the Eternal City.

“I am honoured by their interest,” the Chilean told Il Corriere dello Sport.

“Roma are a big club and I have to thank their directors for being interested in me. But for now I need to recover from my injury. Once everything is ok I will talk to Udinese.

“I like Luis Enrique and his style of play. In Italy things have changed a bit as there is more space for youngsters. Look at Edinson Cavani and Stevan Jovetic. This is good news also considering that Serie A is the toughest league in the world,” concluded Isla.

The Chilean has been followed closely also by Manchester United, Milan and Juventus.

Chelsea in pole for Markovic: Partizan starlet Lazar Markovic has been linked to some of the best European clubs including Inter, Roma and Fiorentina. However, Chelsea seem to have stepped in with a £14M offer for the 17-year-old forward who will probably move to Stamford Bridge in the summer.

The future of Kjaer, Bojan & Angel: Roma youngsters Simon Kjaer, Bojan Krkic and José Angel will need to prove their worth before the end of the season if they wish to continue their adventure in Giallorosso. Kjaer has been really disappointing so far and may return to Wolfsburg at the end of the season. Bojan has so far failed to live up to expectations and went from being a regular to be Borini and Lamela’s reserve. Same goes for Angel, who is now Taddei’s reserve for the left-back spot: Roma would let him go for €5M.
