AC Milan manager Vincenzo Montella spoke of how luck must play a part, if Milan have to beat Massimiliano Allegri’s men when the sides meet on Saturday.

The former Fiorentina boss was talking to reporters in the pre-match press conference ahead of his side’s massive home game against the Scudetto champions Juventus at the San Siro. Montella was full of praise for Saturday’s opponents. He told reporters:  “I respect Juventus a lot. They are winning and they manage to manage both the positive and the negative moments. On paper the game comes at a wrong time for us, but I also know it's a historic match but it’s importance has reduced over the years. We can do it if we put our cards on the field. I'm proud to train Milan and the guys are very happy. For all these things it will be better to try to beat them.”

Montella spoke positively for the team after it picked up a convincing 4-1 win over Chievo in the last game. He told reporters:  “I see a more courageous team with a precise identity. This spirit has consolidated in the negative period and in the last 5 games nobody has put us down. This has cemented the desire to win.”

Leonardo Bonucci, who is suspended from the game after being sent off against Genoa last week, will be a big miss for the rossoneri. And Montella said, emphasizing on how important luck can be on Saturday:  “This could have been a perfect match for his relaunch. If I could invite someone to the stadium, I'd call luck.”
