Montoya: 'Going to Inter was a cock-up!'
The former Barcelona full-back only made three Serie A appearances for the Nerazzurri, being quickly discarded as an option for Inter's defence by manager Roberto Mancini.
The 24-year-old gave as good as he got in a recent interview with Estadio Deportivo, with the full-back comparing his new experience with Real Betis with his brief spell in Milan:
"I went to a big team like Inter, but I wanted to play, to feel like a footballer. It's a massive cock-up to move somewhere where you can't do that".
Speaking of his future, Montoya had this to say:
"I'm happy here, I feel appreciated, I feel like a footballer. We'll see [about the future]. Betis is a very good option for me".
