Morata reveals how Conte is helping his career

New Chelsea signing Alvaro Morata has had a huge impact at Stamford Bridge having scored six goals in the opening six Premier League games of the season. The Spaniard moved to South West London in a € 80 million deal from Real Madrid and has revealed how Antonio Conte has been helping his career.

The Italian tactician wanted to sign Morata at Juventus in 2014 but the manager resigned before the Old Lady signed the Spaniard. Now Conte and Morata can finally work together.

“I am really happy at Chelsea, it was a big change for my career, it’s important for me to be a regular starter and be a reference point for the team.”

“Conte trusts me and I think this is very important for me and my career.”

Chelsea will face Manchester City tomorrow, here’s how Morata has ‘previewed’ the incoming Premier League showdown: “It’s going to be a tough game, we must win this game before the International break”, Morata said (via Gazzetta).
