Moratti on Thiago Motta
Inter President Massimo Moratti gave his view on the January transfer window which saw Thiago Motta leaving the Nerazzurri.
“We wanted to keep the Brazilian, but his will was to leave us,” said Moratti.
Inter replaced Motta with Fredy Guarin from Porto: “I heard good things about him,” added the President.
“I believe we did well in this transfer window. Motta had to go because he wanted to. Claudio Ranieri was right: we should have kept him because he is an important player but it was a good business for the club.”
