Mourinho: 'Pogba was talking to another team'
The Frenchman moved back to the Old Trafford for 105 million this summer, though the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona were also very interested in the 23-year-old.
"Oh! It was hard to convince him," Mourinho told Goal.Com’s English Page "I had many [conversations] on the phone [with him], lots of SMS.
The Inter legend then revealed an interesting detail about another team courting the Frenchman…
"I think he was getting one in the morning from the manager from another big club and one in the afternoon from myself. I had to try hard to convince him to choose us instead of the other one."
