Mourinho rubbishes United exit talk

Jose Mourinho has rejected all talk that he is going to leave Manchester United at the end of the season.

The Special One began the current campaign - his second in England - well by taking the Red Devils to the top, level with Manchester City. December hasn’t been so kind to his men, however, and they now find themselves a massive sixteen points short of their rivals in third place.

But speaking at a press conference, the Portuguese Coach - who has taken to fulminating at the refs in his side’s recent sun of draws - insists everything is fine.

"I say garbage. I don't find a better word than to define the talk," Mourinho said (via the BBC).

"The worst thing someone can do is put one inch of doubt into my professionalism, to every detail related to my job, so yes the garbage news affected me just on this aspect because it's something I don't admit.

"I repeat I am in the middle of my contract, if I am going to sign a new one it depends on the club but my commitment is total and I want to stay."

The United Coach is in his second of his three year contract with the Old Trafford side.

"I see myself here," Mourinho added.

"It is just a question of the club, the board the owners, Mr Woodward, they are all happy with my contribution and they want me to stay beyond the end of this contract."
