Inter are not lowering the price for Maicon and Real Madrid are looking for alternatives. Liverpool Glen Johnson, who is one of Benitez's targets, is now wanted by Mourinho.

According to the British daily the Sun, Merengues are willing to invest 15 million pounds for the English international defender.
