Nainggolan reveals why Liverpool and Chelsea target is his heir and blasts Roma

Interviewed by magazine Undici, Inter midfielder Radja Nainggolan spoke about his relationship with former club Roma as well as his potential heir at Inter.

"Roma? Since I heard that they wanted to sell me, I closed my relationship with them. In Milano everyone welcomed me, counting that it is not easy for me to change teams. I have always been fond of the places where I have been, Cagliari and Roma. I gave and received a lot. I am happy to be here. There is a coach who strongly wanted me and with whom I have an excellent relationship," he said.

"My way of playing leads me to be respected and well-liked because I always give my best on the pitch. Outside the field it is another story, one must also enjoy life. If I do not do it when I am young, then when? If I went from the field to the house and from the house to the field, after a while, my head would not work. I would run out. I need to go out and relax mentally.

"My heir at Inter? In Italy, I really like Barella from Cagliari, bad and clean, angry and with a winning mentality. I see myself as a youngster in him.

"What to do after my career? I will not do anything to do with the world of football, neither coaching nor sports commentating. Especially the latter, for me who has a big heart, would be impossible to do. I am too sincere and immediately say what I think, uncensored. I would make enemies and they would drive me away immediately," Nainggolan concluded.
