Napoli: assault on Diawara amid Aston Villa interest
According to Sky Italia, Napoli have made an offer of € 18 million to Bologna to close the Diawara deal as soon as possible, given that AS Roma have yet to sell Leandro Paredes and don’t have money available to sign the Guinean midfielder at the moment.
Napoli had put the Diawara-deal on hold waiting to sell Valdifiori to Torino, but with the future of the former Empoli playmaker which is still up in the air, Napoli want to close the deal for the 19-year-old as soon as possible to avoid an possible inconvenience in the future.
Aston Villa have also made an offer for the highly-rated holding midfielder, but the player would prefer not to leave Italy next season.
