Napoli consider summer swoop for Man City’s Bravo

Claudio Bravo was supposed to become one of Premier League’s most reliable goalkeepers. The Chile star, however, failed to justify his price-tag during his one-year spell in England and he is now tipped to leave the Etihad Stadium.

Bravo, 34, is contracted with the Citizens until 2020. He swapped Barcelona with Man City for €18 million last summer but due to his disappointing performances he is likely to leave the Blue in the coming weeks.

According to Sky Sport, Napoli are considering a summer bid for the 34-year-old.
The partenopei, in fact, are looking for a replacement for Pepe Reina who was also not too much reliable during the last campaign.

It is still unknown whether Napoli want to take Bravo on loan or on a permanent deal but what it is to take for granted is that Napoli need a replacement for Reina given that the Spaniard is not likely to extend his contract with expiring in 2018.
