Napoli, contract negotiations with Milik on stand by

Napoli’s contract negotiations with Arkadiusz Milik have been stopped, according to La Repubblica. The 25-year-old Polish striker’s contract expires in 2021, and negotiations had been underway to sign a renewal, but now they have ended. Manager Carlo Ancelotti is calm about the situation. If Mauro Icardi was to arrive in Naples, then the Polish striker could leave. Milik has been with Napoli since 2016 and last season scored 17 goals with the Partenopei, but with the Mauro Icardi situation is still ongoing, the Argentinian could still end up in a Napoli shirt.
