Napoli, De Laurentiis explains Sarri sacking, reveals Chelsea bid

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis talked about the sacking of Maurizio Sarri during the event Football Leader on Tuesday afternoon.

“There aren’t many things I could say (about the sacking of Sarri). I told the press that his time was over. I am in charge of a business and I can’t wait for everybody. It should be the opposite. I gave him time and the time expired. When it searched the replacements.”

“The team can really improve with Ancelotti in charge. Yesterday we visited the training centre, we are doing some refurbishment works, we need to change many aspects. We also met the club’s chefs and we’ve begun some new programs to have the best possible results next season.”

“I will never forget when Conte wanted to sign Koulibaly. Chelsea offered € 58 million but I don’t him: ‘Why should I accept’. Money is a tool, not a target. The target is Koulibaly.”
