    Napoli, Lo Monaco slams ADL

    Former Catania director of sport Pietro Lo Monaco has attacked Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis during an interview with Radio Kiss Kiss. The noisy owner of the partenopei had suggested Maurizio Sarri to change his formation to make the most of Manolo Gabbiadini’s qualities.

    Lo Monaco, however, does not agree with De Laurentiis

    “I don’t think there are 15 strikers similar to Higuain, so I’d rather think that the president has not asked the manager’s opinion or that Maurizio Sarri has said no to every striker proposed to replace the Argentinean”, Lo Monaco told the Italian radio station.

    “De Laurentiis has lost another chance to shut up because he’s not as competent as he thinks to be. Gonzalo Higuain’s sale to Juventus showed all the problems that the club have. Talking to his boss using TVs and radios is totally wrong. If it was up to me, I’d sack De Laurentiis.”
