Napoli-Red Star: Mertens and Hamsik shine in the player ratings

Napoli defeated Red Star Belgrade 3-1 in Naples last night, with Dries Mertens scoring twice and Marek Hamsik scoring once in an important win for Ancelotti’s side against a resilient Red Star.

Marek Hamsik gave Napoli the lead in the 11th minute before Dries Mertens doubled their lead in the 33rd, after a good assist from Fabian Ruiz. In the 52nd minute, Mertens made it 3-0 to Napoli before a goal from El Fardou Ben gave the visitors a consolation.
