According to the Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper, at the end of the season the president of Napoli, Aurelio De Laurentiis, will offer Carlo Ancelotti a long contract extension. ADL is now ready to give the coach more responsibility in the transfer market. 

De Laurentiis recently commented that he would love Ancelotti to remain at the club ‘for life’ and likened him to Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United.
