Following their fantastic win over Manchester City, Napoli are looking to strengthen their squad in the January transfer window. The Azzurri are not qualified yet as they will have to beat Villarreal in the last match of the Group Stage but President Aurelio De Laurentiis is confident they will make it.

“We have a great staff, really united. We know to be on the right path and if we will have to upgrade our squad then we will do so,” claimed the President.

Meanwhile, according to Giuseppe Rossi's agent, the Italian international who has been linked to the Azzurri for long claimed Napoli will be able to bring in top-class players thanks to their qualification to the next stage of the Champions League.

“Giuseppe is getting better doing rehabilitation. Napoli are a fantastic club and the fact that they are going to qualify from the group means they will be able to attract big players,” explained Federico Pastorello. “For them it will be easier than before to sign top-class player,” he concluded. And Rossi may as well be one of them.
