One of football’s worst kept secrets will be announced later this evening as Barcelona unveil their new coach, Ernesto Valverde. A press-conference has been called for 1900 CET when it’s expected that the former Athletic Bilbao tactician will be officially announced as the successor to Luis Enrique.
 

Valverde has been in pole-position ever since his predecessor decided to step down and after signing off the season with victory in the Copa del Rey at the weekend, a new chapter in the history of one of the world’s biggest football clubs is about to begin.

The Blaugrana have also unveiled their new home shirt for next season which sees them break away from tradition with a brand new-look design.
