New Barcelona signing has incredibly low release clause

Barcelona have just announced the signing of Gerard Deulofeu from Everton but the Spaniard’s return to the Camp Nou may not be long term.

The La Liga giants activated their € 13 million buy-back clause after Deulofeu’s impressing loan spell at AC Milan but the blaugrana want to sell the player for a higher transfer fee and are waiting for potential suitors to sign the player again this summer.

According to reports in Spain, Deulofeu has a € 20 million release clause, a very low transfer fee that can be met by any top European club out there.

AC Milan had previously been linked with signing the player on a permanent deal and Juventus are also reportedly interested in signing the U21 Spain International. The Serie A giants, however, have just signed Federico Bernardeschi and Douglas Costa and may not be in need of a new winger.

AS Roma are still looking for an attacking winger and even if the giallorossi are negotiating with Leicester City over the signing of Mahrez, Deulofeu could become an interesting option if the Foxes slap an exaggerate price-tag on the Algeria star.
