Newcastle boss to miss Swansea clash

Newcastle United boss Rafa Benitez is set to miss his side’s Sunday clash against Swansea City, according to local Sky Sports journalist and broadcaster Keith Downie.

Benitez is yet to talk to the media following his club’s failed transfer media, where they failed to sign a left-back, leaving without a suitable left-back until Paul Dummett makes his return in November.

Benitez had undergone an operation for a hernia and has been up and down this week.

The NUFC players have been in dispute with the club for weeks over the bonus payment...unsure whether the FA Cup winning offer solves that.
