News Britannia: Man Utd increase Mkhitaryan bid

Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s name is written in capital letters on José Mourinho’s agenda. The Armenian star won’t be extending his expiring deal with Borussia Dormtund and will be free to join ay other club for nothing from next summer.

That’s why the Red Devils want to persuade the German club to sell the talented winger in the upcoming transfer window. According to the Daily Mirror, the Old Trafford outfit have tabled a £ 28 million bid for the 26-year-old player.

Man Utd had seen their previous £ 19 million bid rejected by Borussia Dortmund. The German side might decide to keep Mkhitaryan for one more season, until the end of his contract, like they already did some years ago with Robert Lewandowski who joined Bayern Munich as a free agent back in 2014.
