Nicchi on Atalanta protests: 'Nobody saw Bastos handball, Gasperini...'

AIA President Marcello Nicchi commented on Atalanta's protests for the penalty kick that was not awarded them in the first half of the Coppa Italia final against Lazio: "I am not here to pour fuel on the fire. There was an episode that everybody saw after the game. Nobody saw it during when the match was on", he told Ansa.

"Gasperini? He should take responsibility for what he said. What he says on VAR is what he thinks. VAR works well although it doesn't cancel all the mistakes".
