Not Kane, not Morata: which EPL striker is carrying his team the most?

Not Kane, not Morata: which EPL striker is carrying his team the most?

Do you know who the most valuable player (to their individual team) is in the Premier League? No, it’s not Harry Kane, or even Alvaro Morata!

According to a recent study by EA SPORTS, it emerges that Pascal Groß of Brighton is the most precious player in that sense, seeing as he’s smashed in (or contributed to) a stunning six of nine of the goals that Albion have netted in EPL action so far.

That’s 67% (two thirds) of Brighton’s goals so far! Even Harry Kane and Alvaro Morata don’t quite match that level of success, their eight and nine “total goals” only worth 47% of their London team’s totals.

In fact, neither match Wayne Rooney, whose four goals (no assists) count for 57% of Everton’s total goals. Admittedly, the Goodison Park side has not been enjoying a good season, and it has resulted in Ronaldo Koeman getting sacked.
