    NY Red Bulls boss hints at Giuseppe Rossi’s Fiorentina stay

    No MLS for Giuseppe Rossi, at least for now. The former Villareal man had been linked with a move to his native country USA (Rossi was born in New Jersey but has Italian passport), but New York Red Bull Boss Jesse Marsch has denied that the club are interested in welcoming the services of the Fiorentina striker.

    “We’ve had no contact with him”, Marsch told MLSSoccer.com, suggesting that the player might remain at Fiorentina to see if he can get more game time than last season, when lack of first-team football led him to move to Levante on a six-month loan deal in January.
