OFFICIAL: AC Milan legend Christian Abbiati to retire at the end of the season

It’s official now. Christian Abbiati, 39, will retire at the end of the season. AC Milan-Roma will be the veteran’s last Serie A game, whilst his last match as a professional footballer will be the Coppa Italia final against Juventus.
Abbiati has played 380 games with the Rossoneri winning eight trophies, including a UEFA Champions League and three Serie A titles. The Italian shot-stopper has also played for Torino, Juventus, Atletico Madrid and Monza.
