    OFFICIAL: Albiol extends Napoli contract, ADL makes cutting remark to Sarri

    Now it’s official. Raul Albiol has extended his Napoli contract until 2020. The 31-year-old Spanish defender is playing his fourth season at the San Paolo and is a cornerstone of Maurizio Sarri’s defensive line.

    As it usually happens when it comes to announcing official deals, the news has been released straight from Aurelio De Laurentiis’ official Twitter account.

    “Another deal completed by the trio De Laurentiis, Chiavelli, Giuntoli”, ADL’s tweet reads. De Laurentiis has deliberately decided not to mention Maurizio Sarri. Has he done it on purpose or is it an indirect message to say that the manager is not in charge for transfer activity?
