OFFICIAL! Alvaro Morata extends Juventus contract
The club confirmed Morata’s contract extension through an official statement published on their website.
“Alvaro Morata has extended his contract with Juventus. The Spanish striker, whose previous contract expired in 2019, has signed a new deal with the Bianconeri lasting until 30 June 2020”, the statement reads.
The 23-year-old is not in the form of his life as he could net just three goals in 19 seasonal games while during the last season he helped the Old Lady to snatch two domestic titles as well as to reach a UEFA Champions League final plundering 15 in 46 appearances.
Morata’s contract extension does not prevent his former club Real Madrid from exercising a € 30 million buy-out clause that would allow Los Blancos to bring Morata back at the Santiago Bernabeu at the end of the current season or at the end of the 2016/2017 campaign.
