    OFFICIAL: Napoli target Sime Vrsaljko joins Atleti

    The news item was in the air, but now it’s official: the 24-year-old right back Sime Vrsaljko is an Atletico Madrid player. The transfer has been announced by both the Spanish club and Sassuolo through their official websites. It’s the first time that the neroverdi sell one of their players abroad.

    The terms of the agreement are undisclosed, but it seems that the Colchoneros have paid €16 million plus a €2m bonus; on the other hand, the Croat –who has been a target for Napoli- has signed until June 2021.
