Official: Barcelona trio to skip Juventus’ Champions League clash

Juventus and Barcelona will meet at Turin’s Allianz Stadium on Wednesday in a crucial Champions League clash. The La Liga giants are the Group D table leaders and only need one point in the last two games of the group stage to automatically qualify. The Old Lady is three points above Sporting Lisbon and a win against Barcelona will allow them to gain qualification to the knock-out stage.

Barcelona will travel to Turin tomorrow without the injured Javier Mascherano, Sergi Roberto and Andre Gomes. The most crucial absence for the La Liga giants could be Sergi Roberto’s as he is the only regular starter among the three this season. Barcelona boss Valverde has just released the squad list for Wednesday’s Champions League clash:

Defenders: Jordi Alba, Digne, Vidal, Umtiti, Vermaelen, Semedo, Piqué
