OFFICIAL: Barros Schelotto appointed new Palermo manager
Schelotto, 42, is at his first coaching experience with a Serie A team and will be in charge as Palermo boss alongside former Primavera team gaffer Fabio Viviani.
The new coaching staff will be revealed in the next few days, while the first league game of the Schelotto-era will be against Genoa at Marassi next Sunday.
Palermo President Maurzio Zamparini has already sacked two managers this season as Davide Ballardini replaced Giuseppe Iachini after that the latter was fired on November 10.
