Bayern Munich officially announced the termination of Luca Toni contract. The Italian international striker who played the second half of last season on loan at Roma, should have returned to Munich until 2011. However, due to his difficult relationship with the Dutch coach Louis Van Gaal, both the club and the player reached an agreement for an early termination of the contract, making Toni a free agent with immediate effect. According to Bayern's website, Toni is close to Genoa.
