Official: Cagliari sell Colombatto to Sint-Triuden

Cagliari has announced the transfer of their 22-year-old Argentinian midfielder Santiago Colombatto to Sint-Truiden, a club in the Belgian first division. The player arrived in Cagliari in December 2015 and signed a 3-and-a-half-year contract with the Sardinian side, before spending time on loan with Pisa, Trapani, Perguia and most recently Hellas Verona last season, whilst also making five first team appearances for the Rossoblu. The 22-year-old will hope to see more first team action in Belgium after failing to fully settle in Italy.
